Aerospace Group LLC may be making is debut here at EBACE
2005, buts its management team has decades worth of
experience buying, selling, designing, completing, and
maintaining high-end business aircraft.
Foremost are the two
men at the top of the organization: Ron Zilberbrand, CEO
of The Zilberbrand Group, and co-founder and former
President of Jet Support Services Inc. (JSSI)
International; and Kevin Hoffman, President and CEO of
Montreal-based Aerospace Concepts LLC. Zilberbrand and
Hoffman serve as co-chairmen of Aerospace Group.
Aerospace Group LLC
specializes in buying and selling wide-cabin,long-range
and ultra-long range business aircraft, and is the only
sales and acquisitions firm in the world to include
completion management services in the price of each new
aircraft. The company is headquartered in Chicago, with
offices in Montreal, Texas and California.

Ronald Zilberbrand
Co-Chairman & President
Ron Zilberbrand began
his aviation career in 1989 as a founder of JSSI (Jet
Support Services, Inc.). JSSI specialized in providing
Hourly Cost Maintenance Programs to general aviation
operators. His vision, determination and perseverance
along with sales and marketing skills allowed JSSI to
grow and compete against major providers such as
Honeywell’s “MSP”, General Electric “MCPH”, Pratt &
Whitney “ESP” and Rolls Royce “Power by the Hour”
Program. During the last 16 years, Ron grew JSSI from
inception to over 1,800 customers flying out of 31
countries.
Through his network of
representatives, service centers, management companies
and flight departments in 31 countries, Ron established
a level of customer service admired throughout the
Aviation industry. He co-founded The Zilberbrand Group,
LLC in 2004 and brings this same level of “customer
first” service to Aerospace Group LLC.
Kevin Hoffman
Co-Chairman & CEO
Kevin Hoffman joined
Gulfstream Aerospace’s Engineering Flight Test
Department in 1985, where he honed his skills in test
and certification requirements as well as preparing test
plans and procedures. Following the certification of the
Gulfstream IV, he joined the Product Development group
where he had constant exposure to CAD/CAM while doing
conceptual aircraft design, aerodynamic analyses and
computational fluid design analysis on 3D models.
In 1990 he moved to
Canadair Aerospace where he was in charge of the
Conceptual Aircraft Design and Aircraft Design Tool
Development for the Advanced Design Group at Canadair.
Hoffman also coordinated and directed the conceptual and
Preliminary Design phases of the Next Model Executive
Jet (Global Express). This included configuration
design, networking, program planning, assigning
responsibilities, maintaining program schedules and
budgets, and coordinating and leading all teams through
the Conceptual and Preliminary design phases.
In 1994, he joined the
Sales and Marketing Group as the Director of Global
Express Technical Sales. This entailed providing
technical presentations to customers during discussions
of the Global Express. In 1997, he transitioned to
Product Management as the Global Express Product
Director, eventually founding Aerospace Concepts in the
late 1990s.
Jason Zilberbrand
Vice President, Operations
Jason Zilberbrand began
his career in aviation at the age of 21, and worked for
JSSI for the next nine years as Regional Sales Manager
covering the Midwest and North Central United States.
During this time he became the number-one sales agent
for his territory.
Zilberbrand is known
for his exceptional customer service, and his ability to
exceed the needs of his customers. He has worked
extensively with the Fortune 100 group of clients and
maintained the accounts of some of the largest corporate
flight departments in the U.S.
He co-founded The
Zilberbrand Group, LLC in 2004 and serves as its
President.
John Brodeur
Vice President, Sales &
Marketing
A multi-engined rated
pilot who also holds an A&P mechanics certificate, John
Brodeur
began his aviation
career in Florida with “Wordair”, working as a mechanic
and flying cargo throughout the Caribbean. In 1988, he
returned to Canada to work with Boeing-deHavilland
Aircraft in Toronto, Ontario, within the Quality
Procurement Assurance department.
In 1990, he transferred
to the corporate headquarters of Bombardier Aerospace in
Montreal, Quebec. Responsibilities included auditing
vendors’ quality assurance programs and compliance to
Bombardier’s manufacturing specifications. In 1994, he
created and ran a field service engineering office in
Mexico for all Latin American operators of Challenger
aircraft.
In 1999, John became
Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for
Servicios Aereos Estrella in Mexico. He was responsible
for new business development, and marketing of the
Toluca International Airport and the FBO.
In October of 2004 John
returned to Canada and joined Aerospace Concepts, where
he serves as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for
the company, with responsibility for analyzing new
business opportunities.
John Lawson
Senior Advisor
John Lawson recently
retired from Bombardier Aerospace where he served in a
variety of senior roles, most recently as President of
Bombardier Business Aircraft Sales. He was commissioned
a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1961, and
retired in 1975 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
In 1980, Lawson was
named director of Government Requirements and later
director of Project Management for the original
Challenger 600. After Bombardier acquired Canadair, he
became Vice President of Customer Support, then Vice
President of Marketing and International Sales.
In 1995, he was
appointed President of Canadair Business Aircraft and
played a significant role in the development of the
Global Express Program. This was followed by an
appointment as President of Bombardier Business Aircraft
Sales with responsibility for worldwide sales of all
Learjet, Canadair Challenger and Global Express and
corporate variants of the Canadair Regional Jet. |
