SPECIALIZING IN
WIDE-CABIN LONG-RANGE BUSINESS JETS, AEROSPACE GROUP
ACQUIRES ITS FIRST AIRCRAFT
Geneva, May 18 -
Aerospace Group, the world’s only aircraft sales and
acquisitions firm focusing exclusively on wide-cabin
long-range business jets, has acquired its first
aircraft, a Challenger 300 now being built by
Bombardier.
The marketing of
large-cabin aircraft such as Bombardier’s super-midsize
Challenger 300, as well as other high-end business jets
such as the Bombardier Global Express, is the raison
d’ętre for the founding of Aerospace Group.
“Nobody cares more
about the upper end of the industry than we do,” said
Ron Zilberbrand, Co-Chairman of the new company. “We
understand the dynamics of this most exclusive market,
and have built our entire company around serving
customers for this class of business jet.”
The new aircraft,
serial #20072, will be powered by a pair of Honeywell
HTF7000 turbofans. It has a transcontinental range of
3,100 nautical miles, and long-range cruise speed of
Mach 0.82. Delivery of the “green” aircraft will be in
October, with the completed aircraft ready for its new
owner in February 2006.
The future owner of
this new Challenger 300 can be assured that the interior
of this aircraft will be completed on time and within
budget because the work will be managed by
Montreal-based Aerospace Concepts LLC. (ACL).
ACL is the world’s
largest and most experienced completions management
firm, and all new aircraft sold by Aerospace Group will
include completion management services in the price.
“We’ve successfully
managed the interior work on one-third of the worldwide
fleet of Global Express aircraft, and all clients of
Aerospace Group will benefit from that experience,” said
ACL President and CEO Kevin Hoffman, who also serves as
CEO of the new sales and acquisitions firm.
The aircraft interior
will be configured for eight passengers in a double club
arrangement. It will be appointed in beige leathers and
fabric complimented by upgraded carpet and real wood
veneer.
